I first became interested in homebrewing my freshman year of college when my buddy Ben discussed his enjoyment of it. It took me another three years and a conversation with Ben to get myself geared up for it and since I've started I have really enjoyed it. As a Colorado native, I was and am blessed to be surrounded by a number of great breweries, microbreweries, and brewpubs. This immersion has and will hopefully continue to expose me to new and interesting brews.
Ramius doesn't care much for beer. That said, he loves our outings to get supplies and has an intent interest in everything that goes on during the brewing process - from the smells, to the the mess, to the spills he is there with gusto. It brings out his inner puppy.
